Designing the new SaySomethingin language learning app

Collaborating with the SaySomethingin team to create their innovative language-learning app has been an amazing journey. Our partnership has resulted in an app that supports language learning and captivates users with its intuitive design and smooth functionality.

SaySomethingin has been a pioneer in language education since 2008, offering a unique methodology that promotes natural language learning. Our task was to translate this innovative approach into a mobile app that is both user-friendly and effective. We focused on creating an interface that simplifies the learning process, allowing users to immerse themselves in new languages without the typical barriers associated with traditional methods.

Our team embarked on a comprehensive design journey, emphasising:

• User-Centric Design: Conducting extensive user research to understand the needs and preferences of language learners, ensuring the app’s interface is intuitive and accessible.
• Seamless Navigation: The app features a clean layout with straightforward navigation, enabling users to focus on learning without distractions.
• Cross-Platform Compatibility: Designed for iOS, Android and PC platforms, the app provides a consistent experience across devices, broadening its accessibility.

Our dedication to a positive user experience was acknowledged when we were named finalists in the ‘Best User Experience’ at the inaugural TBE Awards 2024.
