It’s been a short while but we’re back with another ‘Let’s get personal’. This time we’re talking travel, condiments and TV… Intrigued? Well, keep reading!
So, let’s get personal with… Debbie Parsons
- What do you do at Resolution?
I’m a Senior Account Manager working mostly with retained clients, ie. those who’ve asked us to look after their marketing for them, working to a pre-approved strategy.
- What do you like most about working with retained clients?
I enjoy the wide variety of clients and the interesting mix of marketing activities, meaning there’s never a dull moment. The best part is that you get to build relationships with clients over time and eventually feel part of their business.
- What is the first thing you do when you get into the studio?
I check the diary first, have a quick look through my emails and then get a cup of tea before I hit my ‘to do’ list.
- If you could live anywhere, where would you live and why?
I’d live outside Geneva, on the French side. I lived in Geneva for 3 years up until 2003 and have quite a few friends there who’ve settled just over the border in France. It’s a fantastic way of life with the lake for swimming and watersports and the Alpes on your doorstep for winter sports and hiking in the summer. To be able to see the mountains every day is really inspiring! Also it’s very international and I like having to swap between languages. The kids would be bilingual which would be such an advantage for them. I just need to convince my husband who’d probably opt for New Zealand.
- What are you currently watching?
I’ve just watched the latest Poldark which fitted in nicely before a trip to Cornwall. I’m now watching Suits – can’t remember which season – it’s great to watch Meghan Markle before royalty.
- If you could only ever have one condiment for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Definitely fresh ground pepper. I add it to most things, even strawberries.
- What excites you most about working at Resolution?
I’ve always worked in agencies, big and small. With Resolution, you get the best of both worlds – an agency full of talented people but based in beautiful Wiltshire, not a city. Also our monthly team lunches are fab.
