So, let’s get personal with… Rebecca Jaggs.
- What do you do at Resolution?
I’m involved in all the creative output from Resolution – nuff said. - How did you get into your role?
I’ve always been passionate about design, even as a child I was trying to make things that looked good. My first job was in exhibition design in London at a time when Apple Macs were just being introduced into the studio. After 5 years, I was Head of Design but wanted to stretch my wings so I went freelance. After moving out of London, Richard and I set up Resolution and built a team here in the lovely market town of Devizes. - Which logo do you wish you’d designed?
Ooo good question. I always liked the Formula 1 logo – a clever use of negative space and looks great even after 30 years. The new design hasn’t gone down well with the fans apparently but it’s a really strong, clean design – just might have been good to do a refresh rather than a complete change, but sometimes you do have to break a few eggs. - If you could start a new career today, what would you like to do?
I love what I do but maybe theatre design could tempt me. OR… if I could suddenly become a talented singer, but that’s not going to happen… Ever. - Where is one place you’ve always wanted to go but have never been?
Pompeii, but with no other tourists there – is that too much to ask? - If you were a new addition to the crayon box, what colour would you be?
Chocolate brown. I like the colour of chocolate and I like brownies. - What excited you the most about Resolution?
I really enjoy working with the team here and each day brings new design challenges, plus some excellent banter.
