So, if you’re ready to hear weird food combinations, travel stories and what Poppy’s average day consists of, then keep an eye out for the ‘Let’s get personal…’ series.

First up… Sam Berry

  1. What do you do at Resolution?
I do the web development for the majority of our websites, web applications and anything else that sits or interacts with the web.
  2. What is the first thing you do when you get into the studio?
The first thing I do is check my emails for any system notifications. As I don’t deal with many clients, I never usually have any emails from them, however, I do get the automatic emails from our website and hosting environments. These just let me know if there are any potential issues that may occur unless action is taken.
  3. How did you get into web development?
I got into web development when I was 13. I got really involved in playing multiplayer video games, despite my parents’ best efforts, and lots of these games had their own third-party fan websites. I decided that I’d learn to create my own website and try to gain in-game fame. Unfortunately, the fame dream didn’t come true…
  4. What are you currently watching on Netflix?
Designated Survivor, Suits and Persons of Interest.
  5. If you had to be an emoji, what emoji would you be?
Definitely the palm tree! It reminders me of home, Sunny Cornwall…
  6. Do you have any weird food combinations?
Butter! I used to be obsessed with it. I’d put cubes of butter on everything I ate including roasts, lasagne and pizza. I’m not quite as bad now which is good considering how unhealthy it was.
  7. What excites you the most working at Resolution?
Aside from our team lunches, working with a variety of different businesses and brands excites me. One week I could be updating a website for a local fashion brand and the next I could be building a bespoke events booking system!

Keep an eye on our Twitter page to find out when the next ‘Let’s get personal…’ post is up!

Let’s get the

ball rolling…
