Business Development Manager
We’re looking for a talented person to develop new partnerships and help the agency grow.
About the role
In a nutshell
This is an important role focused on identifying and developing new business opportunities. You will build an understanding of potential client needs and communicate, in a persuasive and consultative manner, how Resolution can support them.
You will guide prospective clients through the full client journey, from the initial conversation through to proposal delivery and final approval, building strong relationships along the way.
The ideal candidate will be a hard-working, self-motivated professional with excellent communication skills, a keen interest in modern marketing, and a good understanding of digital services. You should be based in Wiltshire or the Swindon area. Sales and marketing support will be provided.
Responsibilities & duties
- Respond promptly to incoming sales leads, create proposals and manage them through to approval
- Research and identify potential new clients, approach prospects via LinkedIn, email, and phone, and secure and conduct initial discovery conversations
- Attend networking events and trade shows
- Introduce Resolution’s services and processes, learn about clients’ businesses, current marketing activity, and objectives
- Nurture client relationships over time
- Keep the job management system and sales CRM up to date
Skills & experience
We’d love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Relevant agency experience
- At least 2 years of sales experience in consultative service sales
- Good Mac-based computer skills
- Good knowledge of modern marketing
- Experience with Social Media: X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and others
- Good interpersonal, organisational, literacy & numeracy skills
- Polite, positive, honest and enthusiastic
- This role requires a valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle

Salary:
- Competitive package – OTE £27K (3 days/week)
